spinning tire on car

Sometimes as believers, we use the idiom that we feel that we are “spinning our wheels” in our walk with God and ongoing spiritual growth.

This message is actually meant to establish to you and affirm to you that “spinning your wheels” is the major status quo in your growth in God. The wheel that you feel spinning in your life is “the potter’s wheel” and “the breaking and making in your life” is the hand of the potter.” (Jeremiah 18:4)

Your deepest spiritual growth is not in the rose-filled garden or on the road filled with prosperity; no, it’s in the garden of Gethsemane when the deepest work is being done.

Don’t be deceived by feel-good information, it is our privilege to “suffer with him, so that we may be glorified with him.” (Romans 8:17)
